Retrieve Data From A Lenovo Desktop PC

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M57 which is not booting up properly. I have been trying to get video to work in the system for a while, and uploaded a new set of drivers which I finally hoped would get the movies to work when I wanted. However, when I saved the drivers and then rebooted to finish the install, the screen would not boot into the OS. In fact, it doesn’t even post, because the screen goes black, and then white. I can hear the computer working as usual, and hear the hard drive and the fans spinning. However, there is no signal on the screen after this white screen, and I can’t get the monitor to display anything else. I have changed the monitor, so that is not the problem, and I don’t know what else to try.

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre which I believe is an M57, but I don’t know for sure. The problem is that I am having trouble recovering data which has been downloaded from the internet. I often get requests from clients through email, and there is usually a document or file which needs to be saved. I can download the file, and even specify the location of the drive where the piece should be placed, but when I look on My Computer, the file is not there. I have tried searching in all the usual places, including Downloads and Recent Places, but the file is not visible. I thought at first that there might have been a problem with Firefox, but attempts on other browsers have ended up with the same result. I can’t download the data that I need, and despite repeated attempts, I have ended up having to refuse work because I can’t get the information off of the internet. I don’t want to keep losing money like this, but the attachments can’t be found anywhere on the desktop. Can you help me to recover the files that have been lost.
