More than twenty years of data recovery serving Oxford and the whole of Oxfordshire — from failed hard drives and SSDs to RAID arrays, NAS boxes and forensic evidence, each handled on our own bench. A free diagnostic, a written quote up front, and no fix, no fee on the bulk of work.

Drives, arrays, cards and Macs — assessed free, priced in writing, and never worked on before you have agreed the figure.
No work begins, and nothing is chargeable, until you have a written figure in front of you.
Post it insured, or bring it to John Eccles House on the Oxford Science Park. Send the bare drive rather than the whole machine where you can — and external units complete with their enclosure.
We establish what actually failed — mechanical, electronic, firmware or logical — because that decides the route, the price and the odds. It costs nothing and there is no obligation.
One figure, agreed before anything is touched. It does not move afterwards, and if we think software would have done the job we will say so.
The device is imaged read-only and everything rebuilt from that copy, so the original is never altered. Files are checked by opening them, not by counting them.
The things worth knowing before you choose anyone.
We say no when the answer is no. Modern ransomware cannot be decrypted by anybody, a TRIMmed SSD has genuinely erased your deleted files, and a soldered Mac on a dead logic board is beyond everyone — and we tell you that at the free diagnostic rather than after an invoice. Firms that promise otherwise are either describing old flawed strains or selling you something else.
Prices are published rather than discovered: £250 cards and USB sticks, £300 single drives, SSDs, laptops and Macs with removable storage, £550 flat for Fusion Drives, from £500 for RAID, NAS and servers, £800 flat for BitLocker and CCTV, and from £1,250 for enterprise SAN — all plus VAT. Most work is no fix, no fee, and where physical drive-level work is needed we take a 50% deposit with the balance due only on success.
Drop-off, insured post, and free return shipping either way.
We work across Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties — Oxford, Banbury, Bicester, Abingdon, Didcot and Witney, out to Reading, Swindon, Aylesbury and Northampton. Full list on the locations page.
Business customers are handled with a named contact, NDAs as standard and invoicing rather than payment up front — see business recovery. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, on 01865 593000.
